DIY Superman Theme Birthday Banner

I’ll be sharing with you today how I made my DIY Birthday Banner which actually is inspired from the Superman character. I actually found this kind of birthday banner over the internet and I thought my kid would like to have it since he is such a fan of Superman. Although, I didn’t put some Superman and stuffs, I just made use of the colors. I’m not sure if the birthday banner I found came with instructions on how to do it so I thought I’d like to share how I did my version. The best thing about this birthday banner is that you really don’t have to print it out, so as to save you some from ink (lol). This is some sort of a free flow as you write down the letters.

DIY Superman Birthday Banner

Materials you will need for the Birthday Banner are:

Red, Blue, Yellow Construction Art Paper (13 pieces for each color)

Some Matching strings or yarn

Scotch tape/double sided tape or glue if you prefer

Scissors

Pencil and Markers

Procedure:

1. Using your pencil, draw the letters from the word “Happy Birthday” on the red construction art paper. One letter on each art paper. (See images to see how I draw my letters)


2.  Once you have the letters, cut the letters out and set them aside.


3. Using your pencil, draw zigzag lines or curve lines on the yellow art paper. Just like the ones I did on the picture and cut them.


4. Once the letters and curve lines on the yellow paper are done glue or tape each letter on top of it.


5. Then glue them to the blue art paper. Punch a small hole on the upper part of the blue art paper. Just small holes for the string or yarn to fit in.


6. Arrange the letters accordingly and give distance to each letters.


7. Then the birthday banner is ready for you to hang them on the wall.


8. If you also want to add the name of the celebrant that is a great idea too.

Isn’t that easy? Go ahead and make your child this beautiful banner. Just perfect and just the match. Making your own birthday banner can be time consuming but for any full-time mothers this is a must do and I’m pretty sure with this Superman theme birthday banner, your kids will love it.
